tonight’s sketches!!

i don’t sketch nearly enough so I attempted to change that tonight. also I hold my sketchbook to UNATTAINABLY HIGH STANDARDS so i’m just trying to treat it like more of a diary than anything.

i tend to scrawl thoughts/song lyrics/notes as i doodle so ignore that!!

newest painting!! (with close ups!!)

so my mom really loves skulls and things like that, and one of her favorite characters is Lady Death, or a female personification of the grim reaper/death. I’ve made her a few drawings of lady death in the past, which you can see here (2008) and here (2010). i figured i would make a new one for mother’s day :D

this took me about 2.5 hours which is ~*~amazing~*~ for me bc usually i take much longer. i would like to thank my intuos tablet for this opportunity.
